Tropical Dream #2

The drink so good they had to make a second version. This is the Tropical Dream #2.

It would seem odd that we are releasing a recipe for Tropical Dream #2 before the original, but this is just the one that caught our eye the most. We came across this recipe on the Tipsy Bartender website and because we are such big fans of drinks with sweet tropical tastes , the long list of ingredients in this one was hard to resist.

With all these sweet ingredient you would think it would be hard to pick up on just one prominent taste, however what stands out in this one is very much the combination of Pineapple juice and the Rums with a slight hint of Banana at the end of it. Obviously, this will not be for everyone and you could argue that drinks like these need a bit of sour in it to balance it out. However, with drinks being to everyone’s personal taste this one defiantly has a place among other tropical cocktails.

Along with tasting like a holiday to the Caribbean, this cocktail looks amazing with its light colour gradient which gets slightly darker as you get to the bottom of the glass. So, if like me you love the sweet taste of Pineapple and flavoured Rums, then this will possibly end up being the king of all drinks for you . Here is how to make the Tropical Dream #2.

  • 1 oz. (30ml) Vanilla Vodka

  • 2 oz. Orange juice

  • 2. oz (60ml) Pineapple juice

  • 1 oz. (30ml) Malibu Coconut Rum

  • 1 oz. (30ml) Banana Liqueur

  • Splash of Grenadine
