A perfect drink to start off the Autumn. This is Thyme Will Tell.
Prep Time : 3 minutes
Serves : 1
Strength : Moderate
When the Autumn starts Whiskey and drinks with herbs become the norm. Bourbon tends to pair really well with a lot of sour ingredients (typically Lemon juice) and this recipe is not too far removed from a traditional Whiskey Sour so you may find some familiar flavours in this drink.
Of course, the focal point of this cocktail is the Thyme which adds its own minor minty almost lemon like flavour which again goes so well with the rest of the ingredients. Maple syrup is used to balance out the sour with some sweet which rounds off the drink and makes it so refreshing and pleasant.
So, if you are into your Whiskey/Bourbon drinks and need something new and exciting to try out, we think this will be something well worth your time. Will it be your new favourite ? Only Thyme will tell.
