Do not let the name put you off, the Brain Haemorrhage is a modern classic which will introduce you to a whole new world of shots.
In recent times there have been a increase in recipes for shots and shooters, but amongst all those there have been unique recipes like the Brain Haemorrhage that make use of layers and ingredients such as Irish cream which curdle in the other ingredients in the shot. This may not be for everyone as the taste of something more solid in a drink or shot can be off putting. However, I think this shot is very cool as it would be suitable for many occasions such as parties or at Halloween.
Also, it is very versatile as you can make small changes to it to get other recipes such as the Alien Brain Haemorrhage just by adding a bit of Blue Curacao to the mix. It’s also closely related to the Blue Jellyfish shot we have already done (check it out if you love good looking strong shots) , so it fits in well amongst other shots you may have already tried.
So the Brain Haemorrhage has opened up a lot of possibilities to future shot recipes, and if you’re the sort of person that loves to experiment with new drinks ideas this would be a good base to come up with new fun creations. But for now, here is how to make the Brain Haemorrhage.
