Sinatra Smash

A cocktail that La Voz himself would be crazy about. This is the Sinatra Smash.

Prep time : 5-6 minutes

Serves : 1

Strength : Moderate

When you include fresh fruits in a cocktail, you are usually going to get a drink with a lot of good flavours that pair well with the right sorts of spirits. The Sinatra Smash is a delicious berry-vanilla cocktail originally made by Patricia Richards of the Wynn hotel in Las Vegas. It is the perfect example of a Springtime cocktail with a sweet and fresh fruity flavour base.

The sweet and sour nature of Blackberries combines so well with the other ingredients here. The sweeter elements of the Vanilla and Simple syrup balance out with the sourer side of things, along with the sharp oaky nature of the bourbon (depending on your Bourbon brand of choice) to make for a well-rounded drinking experience.

It is easy to see why these sorts of drinks are so popular. No matter your flavour palate, you will most likely enjoy one side of this cocktail and like us go on to show interest in similar recipes. Do not be too shocked if you become hooked on this one , because after all that’s life...
