Little twists on popular cocktails can open your world up to so many new possibilities. The Negroni is a staple in a lot of bar and restaurants cocktail menu because of its bitter but sweet herbal appeal that fits in well with a good meal. Swapping out Gin for Rum in this recipe is a small change , but one that will make a huge difference to your Negroni experience.

The type of Rum you choose for this recipe will take it in different directions. A Light Gold Rum such as Havana Club Gold is ideal if you just want to add a slight edge and not take away from the classic Negroni flavour profile. As well as Rum you can experiment with other core spirits in a Negroni and see if you like the results. Home bartending is all about being creative and making drinks your own. So try this out a play with different combinations to see if you can come up with your on personal Negroni recipe !
