Jamaica is famous for its stand out flavours when it comes to both food and drink, as well as this Rum Punches are a favourite recipe amongst bars and restaurants in the caribbean. The tradtional combination of Jamaican Rum, fruit juices and syrups makes for a sweet but sharp taste that you would associate with sunny hot days on the beach on a Caribbean island.
There are many Jamaican Rums out there you could use for this recipe, but we suggest an overproof Jamaican Rum such as Wrey & Nephews for its strength and stand out taste that suites a Rum Punch cocktail perfectly. Homemade Strawberry syrup adds another fruity flavour layer to this cocktail and complements the Pineapple and Orange juices greatly.

Here is how it is made.
Reggae Rum Punch Ingredients
2 oz. (60 ml) Overproof Jamaican Rum (Such as Wrey & Nephews)
2 oz. (60 ml) Pineapple Juice
2 oz. (60 ml) Fresh Orange Juice
1/2 oz. (15 ml) Lime Juice
1/2 oz. (15 ml) Strawberry Syrup
Garnish : Pineapple wedge and leaves
Preparation
Add all ingredients into a shaker with ice.
Shake well till chilled.
Pour and strain into a long glass onver ice.
Garnish with a Pineapple wedge and leaves.
