Purple People Eater

It came from outer space... and is now in your glass. This is the Purple People Eater.

We love drinks based around films or pop culture because occasionally you end up learning about a great film or show that you did not know about before. Also, they usually end up looking and tasting amazing. The Purple People Eaters name comes from the popular America Sc-fi Comedy of the 1980’s and its look reflects the colour of the monster featured in the film.

It has a very sweet sugary flavour to it that comes from the Grenadine and Sour Mix, along with the Cranberry juice its very reminiscent of a slushy as it has a syrupy sweet taste that runs all the way through it. It is very similar to the Galaxy cocktail we made a while back although in a liquid appose to frozen form. So, if you like your drink more on the sweet side and love a good looking cocktail, then the Purple People Eater may just be for you. Here is how it is made.
