Pink in colour and full of flavour. This is the Pink Gin Fizz.
Cocktails known as “Fizz drinks” typically contain an acidic juice such as Lime or Lemon or some form of carbonated water. These drinks are also closely related to the old fashioned sours drink family (the Whiskey Sour for example). The Pink Gin Fizz is a slight twist on the original Gin Fizz which is a popular choice of drink around the world even today.
The base of the flavour from this drink will come from the Gin you chose (we used Bombay Sapphire in this example) and the Orange juice (which will be that much better freshly squeezed). It creates a nice combination of sweet fruity flavour with floral tones from the Gin. Of course, this will vary depending on the Gin you choose, but try and make use of your favourites and see how it works out.
If you are a fan of Gin this is a great drink to bring out the best of your favourite brand and overall, it’s just a solid cocktail. So try it out, it’s up there with some of the best Fizz drink for sure. Here is how it is made.
