Passoã Bramble

One of many Passoã based drinks you will be able to find on the internet, the Passoã Bramble is simple but very flavourful and will satisfy any Gin lovers thirst.

Passoã is a very modern brand of passion fruit Liqueur. The liqueur itself was invented in 1985 when the brand was owned by the Remy Cointreau group . It was not until 2016 that Passoã SAS was established after a joint venture between Lucas Bols (responsible for Bols products) and the Remy Cointreau group. Since its release, the passion fruit liqueur has become a best sell in many European countries and many great cocktail recipes have spawned from it. I do not want to go into too much detail into the brand on this, as they will be a full review article of Passoã in the future.

Just one example of a great Passoã based drink is the Passoã Bramble. I came across this on the companies website where they have a section on many different Passo ãcocktail recipes (check it out if you love the brand). One thing that I noted about this drink is you get a lot of the dryness from the Gin in it but the incredible passion fruit and sweet flavour balances it out so well. As well as this it is a very simple drink to make, it requires little equipment or preparation so if you are just starting out and no little about drinks making this may be for you.

So, for those that love Passoã , Gin or just a decent flavourful cocktail, here is how to make a Passoã Bramble.

  • ¾ oz. (22.5ml) Passoã

  • 2 oz. (60ml) Gin

  1. In a mixing glass stir all your ingredients together.

  2. Fill an old-fashioned glass with crushed ice.

  3. Pour your mixture over the ice.

  4. Garnish with your half passion fruit.
