Lost Lake

Straight out of Chicago and right into your home this Summer. This is the Lost Lake.

Prep time : 3 -4 minutes

Serves : 1

Strength : Moderate

Very few cocktails and bars can boast having won awards but the Lost Lake is one of those few that can. The signature cocktail named after the bar it originated from in Chicago won Imbibe magazine’s 2016 Cocktail Bar of the year and from its incredible tiki flavour and look it isn’t hard to see why.

The typical Tiki combination of Rum and fruit juices along with Maraschino Liqueur and Passion Fruit syrup helps this drink boast an irresistible summer style flavour that anyone would go mad over. It’s the sort of cocktail you don’t have to garnish really as the flavours do all the talking but nothing helps a cocktail like this more than dressing it up in the appropriate Tiki style.

This is defiantly one to add to your list to try this summer and if you ever find yourself in Chi Town probably one you will want to check out in its original home. No doubt the Lost Lake will be around for the foreseeable future.
