There are many different versions of the classic Long Island Iced Tea, some more out there than others. But the Long Island Iced Coffee takes the best parts of the original and mashes it up with a very common and popular drink in Iced Coffee.
Like an iced coffee it has a smooth sweet flavour and with an addition of Baileys , a creamy texture that is to die for. Of course, being a Long Island cocktail you have all the usual white spirits (with one or two removed) boosting the alcohol content to make for quite a strong drink.
It is somewhat removed from what you are probably used to getting from your local Starbucks, but the Long Island Iced Coffee is something special and for all you coffee lovers out there a sure favourite.
Here is how it is made.
Ingredients
½ oz. (15ml) Coffee Liqueur
½ oz. (15ml) Baileys Irish Cream
½ oz. (15ml) Vodka
½ oz. (15ml) Rum
½ oz. (15ml) Tequila
2 oz. (60ml) Cold Brew Coffee
Preparation
Add all the ingredients into a shaker with ice.
Shake well till the shaker is cold.
Add ice to a rocks glass.
Pour the mixture into the glass over the ice.
