Despite the name there is nothing mind altering about this drink except is delicious sweet flavours and eye catching green colour. The name of course comes from its colour which is a result of a combination of Blue Curacao and Midori Melon Liqueur, both of which also add a sweet citrusy tone to the mix.
This could just be seen as one of your standard fruit juice cocktails with a bunch of spirits thrown in, but when you focus on the flavours you realise there are so many other elements at play such as the Coconut Rum that fits in perfectly with the rest of the ingredients here.
We like to think a drink like this is good year round, but one of these on a nice warm day by the pool or on the beach would defiently not go a miss. This is one that you just can't say no to.
Here is how it is made.
Liquid Marijuana Ingredients
1/2 oz. (15 ml) Coconut Rum
1/2 oz. (15 ml) Vodka
1/2 oz. (15 ml) Blue Curacao
1/2 oz. (15 ml) Midori Melon Liqueur
1/4 oz. (7.5 ml) Lime Juice
Garnish : Lime Slice
Preparation
Add all ingrients into a shaker with ice.
Shake well till chilled.
Pour and strain into a long glass over ice.
Garnish with a Lime slice.
