Kahlua Hot Chocolate

Cold Winter nights require the hottest and tastiest drinks. This is the Kahlua Hot Chocolate.

Alcoholic hot drinks are not talked about nearly as much as traditional cold cocktails are, but during the winter months and especially around the festive season you may want to swap out your usual drinking habits for something more warming but keep all that alcohol content.

Kahlua is a Coffee based liqueur and if you have seen our recipes for some of our Shots & Shooters you may have already come across it. Its suites chocolate and sweet flavours perfectly so is an ideal spirit to include in a traditional festive hot drink such as hot chocolate.

Now this is one of those recipes where you can adjust the alcohol content according to your own personal preference, as Kahlua is the only spirit in this, so it will not change the overall taste too much by adding in a bot more. We recommend 1 – 2 shots worth just to add that coffee tone to the drink but not too much as to overpower the chocolate flavour.

If you have ever tried a Baileys Hot Chocolate and liked it then this is defiantly something you will take to as well. So give it a go and get into the Christmas spirit ! Here is how it is made.
