Guinness is a world famous drink originating from the emerald isles themselves. Its malty and roasted flavour are iconic and well associated with St Patrick's Day. So what better cocktail to pair it with than the Espresso Martini, a drink also know for its roasty taste and dark colour.

This recipe keeps all the best ingredients of an Espresso Martini including Coffee Liqueur and fresh cold brew coffee. You can change this up for fresh made Espresso and leave it to cool if that is your preference and you don't want to do the overnight process of making cold brew. The result is a delicious smooth and easy to sip drink that keeps its foamy top layer thanks to the Guinness you top it with.

This is a great cocktail to have for St Patrick's Day, but it also would be a great follow up to any evening meal just like a classic Espresso Martini. Either way, we just know you are going to love it !

Here is how it is made.

Guinness Cold Brew Martini Ingredients

  • 1 oz. (30 ml) Vodka

  • 1/2 oz. (15 ml) Coffee Liqueur

  • 1oz. (30 ml) Cold Brew Coffee (or strong Espresso)

  • 1/4 oz. (7.5 ml) Simple Syrup

  • Guinness Stout to top

Garnish : Coffee Beans

  2. Shake well till chilled.

  3. Pour and strain into a Martini or Coupe glass.

  4. Top with the Guinness slowly.

  5. Garnish with coffee beans.
