Good and Evil

Some drinks are pleasant and good, and some are strong and evil. This one is a bit of both. This is the Good and Evil Cocktail.

Next up on our Halloween drinks selection is a very sweet and citrus heavy cocktail. The main appeal of this one in our opinion is how easy it is to drink; the Pineapple juice and Lemon lime soda make it really light but full of sweet tropical and citrusy flavour. You also get a hint of the Midori in it which only adds to all the greats tastes this drink has going on. It will not taste like the kind oof drink that has a lot of alcohol in it but trust us it is there and is hidden well.

It looks pretty plain in terms of its colour , but we found its shade of yellow makes for great pictures in the right lighting. For garnishing we went with a Lemon slice and some Maraschino Cherries in the bottom of the drink. However this is optional, and you can opt to not have these or experiment with your own garnishes to see what you think looks best.

The Good and Evil has all the components of a great cocktail if you are into your more light and easy drinks. You will not taste the alcohol in it but believe us it is defiantly there. So, try it out and decide which side you are on. Here is how it is made.

Ingredients

• 1 oz. (30ml) Vodka

• 1 oz. (30ml) Apple Sourz

• 1 oz. (30ml) Midori (Melon Liqueur)

• 1 oz. (30ml) Triple Sec

• Pineapple juice

• Lemon lime soda

Garnish (optional) : Lemon Slice and Maraschino Cherries

Preparation

1. Fill a shaker with ice.

2. Add the Vodka, Apple Sourz, Midori, and Triple Sec into the shaker and shake till chilled.

3. Pour and strain into a cocktail glass.

4. Top with Pineapple juice and Lemon lime soda.

5. Garnish with a Lemon slice and Maraschino Cherries.
