If you love simple drinks with few ingredients then you are in luck , the Godfather falls right into that category. With very little preparation you can make yourself a drink that carries a good bit of strength but is light , sweet and easy to sip on.

There’s nothing complicated about the Godfathers flavour base, the Amaretto provides a sweet nutty tone which sits nicely with the sharpness of the Scotch you are using. Of course, this will vary with the brand of Scotch you are using, but it doesn’t have to be anything too fancy if you are looking to avoid any extra expense.

This is the sort of cocktail you sip slowly and enjoy at a pace but with how good it is you may struggle to stick to just one. It is a great example of a Autumn style drink and we have a feeling if you are trying it for the first time , you may just find yourself reaching for one more.
