Frozen Watermelon Margarita

A delicious twist on a classic Tequila cocktail. This is the Frozen Watermelon Margarita.

Prep time : 5 minutes

Serves : 2

Strength : Storng

Margaritas come in all sorts of shapes , sizes and flavours, this version of what is most people’s favourite Tequila cocktail packs quite a punch as well as an irresistible flavour. If you are tired of your usual basic Margarita, then this may be worth trying out !

The general build of the drink is very similar to an original Margarita , but with this one you are making it in a blender with ice and there is no Cointreau or Triple Sec involved. As well as this you are throwing in some fresh Watermelon chunks into the blender to get that light but sweet flavour that compliments the sour aspect of a Margarita well along with the usual salted rim on the glass.

This recipe is good for two servings so is great to know if you have a friend , partner, or family member around looking for a good drink. It is a great little twist on what is already a very popular and delicious cocktail. Try it out and see if it is your kind of drink.
