Devils Margarita

A slightly devilish twist on the king of Tequila cocktails . This is the Devils Margarita.

To many the Margarita is the king of Tequila drinks. Overtime many different twists and takes on the classic Margarita have been made and tested. The Devils Margarita is a combination of the sour brilliance of the original recipe with the sweet fruity nature of Red Wine.

If you have seen our article on the original Margarita recipe, then you will know that the perfect Margarita comes from the right balance of sweet and sour flavour. This variant has that in spades. If you are the sort of person that prefers a sweeter Margarita , then this is the perfect drink for you. Depending on your choice of Red Wine , the top layer of this cocktail can have a pleasant sweet fruity sensation to it. In the flip side if you are keener on sour flavours, then you can opt for a drier Red Wine and use more Lime juice in your Margarita.

What ever your fancy is, the Devils Margarita is an awesome step up if you want to be more adventurous with your choice of drink. Here is how it is made.
