Cherry Cheesecake Shooter

If you like drinks that taste and smell like your favourite desserts, then you may want to try out the Cherry Cheesecake Shooter.

I have always had a soft spot for sweet drinks, specifically the ones that have no alcoholic taste to them whatsoever. I came across this shooter recipe on a delishibly.com article on 17 tasty shots/shooters to make and I do not regret it. The sweetness from the Grenadine and Cranberry juice overpowers the Vodka but not so much as you lose the light vanilla taste. Also, the added option of having a cherry in the shot glass is kind of cool and brings something extra to what is a pretty simplistic shot. This is definitely a shooter I would recommend if you do not do well with strong alcohol tasting drinks but maybe you want to get involved in a round of shots with your friends. Here is how the Cherry Cheesecake is made.

Ingredients

  • ½ oz .(15ml) Vanilla Vodka

  • ¼ oz. (7.5ml) Cranberry juice

  • ¼ oz. (7.5ml) Grenadine

Garnish: Maraschino Cherry (optional)

Preparation

  1. Fill a shaker with ice.

  2. Add in all ingredients.

  3. Shake for 10-15 seconds till shaker is cold.

  4. Strain and pour into a shot glass.

  5. Add a Maraschino Cherry into the glass.
