Beachside Bonfire

A warm summer night on the beach and a great cocktail to match it. This is the Beachside Bonfire.

Prep time : 3 minutes

Serves : 1

Strength : Moderate

Flavoured Rums can make for awesome cocktails when paired with the right ingredients, the Beachside Bonfire is a great example of this. With a look similar to that of a Tequila Sunrise it really does fit in with that summer drink category that we all love.

Mango and Pineapple are two flavours that go hand in hand , so it is no surprise that the Mango and Pineapple Rums in this drink work so well a carry a great tropical flavour. Also, the bit of Grenadine you add in makes for a nice, sweet follow up as well as creating a cool sunset effect. The Brown Sugar on the rim of the glass is what makes this drink so unique and gives it that Caribbean experience that is popular with many people.

There is not much to this drink in terms of ingredients or preparation, but it certainly makes for something different and flavourful. If you find you want a cocktail that suites the season and will make your nights on the beach pleasant , give it a go.

Here is how it is made.
