If you are in the Christmas mood then you will definetly want to try this festive twist on the classc Espresso Martini. Baileys is a staple spirit for Christmas time and it shows off its sweet creamy qualities greatly in this drink. This could been seen as a dessert style cocktail, which would be a great choice to have after a good meal.



Salted Caramel is a perfect flavour to combine with Baileys and the traditional coffee tatse of an Espresso Martini, with it being sweet but not so much as to put most people off. In the hierarchy of Martini cocktails,this one is way up the top in our opinion, so we reccomend you try it out.



Here is how it is made.





Ingredients


 
  • 1 4/6 oz. (50ml) Bailey Irish Cream

  • 5/6 oz. (25ml) Fresh made Espresso

  • 1/2 oz. (15ml) Salted Caramel Syrup



Rim : Melted Chocolate and Salted Caramel Sugar


Garnish : Salted Caramel Fudge





Preparation

 
  1. Melt some choclate and bush it over half the rim of a coupe or martini glass.

  2. Sprinkle Salted Caramel Sugar or Flakes over the coated glass.

  3. Add ice and the ingredients into a shaker.

  4. Shake well till cold.

  5. Pour and strain into the glass.

  6. Garnish with a Salted Caramel Fudge sweet.
