All is Peachy

A tasteful autumn style twist on a classic all time great cocktail. This is the All is Peachy.

Peaches are quite a tasteful fruit and their season seems to bridge between Summer and Autumn. So it makes sense that a fruit/flavour like this would go hand in hand with a classic Whiskey cocktail which some would also argue is very autumnal. If you are familiar with Whiskey and specifically Bourbon then you will know how well the sweet fruity nature of peach melds well with the smoothness of Bourbon and this is the basis of what can be an amazing Whiskey cocktail.

This recipe is a slight adjustment to a classic Whiskey Sour , which some would argue is one of the most versatile cocktails out there in that it can be twisted into so many great variations based on your flavour preferences. In this case regular sugar syrup has been substituted for a nice homemade Peach syrup and Peach liqueur is also thrown in the mix to further boost the flavour profile.

With the Autumn here, we will all be spending those few extra nights in around a fire enjoying the company of friends and family. So for those special nights, an easy going smooth cocktail like this would defiantly not feel out of place.
